Position Summary:

Main focus will be to lead projects for managed SAP/HEC or upgrade/Migrate customers by taking part in design and actual hands-on installation and implementation role. However, based on need will perform support function too.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Project management

  • Lead architecting work in SAP Basis and HANA; involve in installation, set-up, Solution Manager, DS, Post set-up, configuration, sizing, System Performance, Alert monitoring, Security, Access, Back-up, maintaining and monitoring SUSE LINUX based OS, applying new patches, new version on HANA, BODS, BOBJ, regular back-up and monitoring disaster recovery is required.

  • Involve in SAP Basis and System Administration, Security & Access Configuration, Performance Management. Including upgrades, patches, monitoring, SAP Basis, HANA, DS Issue resolution via Solution Manager.

  • Involve in SAP application upgrade/migrate experience with HANA from non-HANA environment using DMO and SUM tools. DMO on Cloud experience will be highly valued. BW on HANA migration will be desired. ECC on HANA migration or S4 HANA migration will be highly valued.

  • Involve in system copies, export/import, back-up/restore and experience of hardware move. Any Data Center move experience in desirables including move to cloud infrastructure

  • Drive automation and scripting methodologies

Minimum Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in SAP Basis with minimum 4 years of experience in SAP HANA.

  • Possess very strong hands-on technical experience

  • Experience in SAP Basis and HANA Architecture, Installation, set-up, Solution Manager, DS, Post set-up, configuration, sizing, System Performance, Alert monitoring, Security, Access, Back-up, maintaining and monitoring SUSE LINUX based OS, applying new patches, new version on HANA, BODS, BOBJ, regular back-up and monitoring disaster recovery is required.

  • Expertise in SAP Basis and System Administration, Security & Access Configuration, Performance Management. Including upgrades, patches, monitoring, SAP Basis, HANA, DS Issue resolution via Solution Manager.

  • Expertise in SAP application upgrade/migrate experience with HANA from non-HANA environment using DMO and SUM tools. DMO on Cloud experience will be highly valued. BW on HANA migration will be desired. ECC on HANA migration or S4 HANA migration will be highly valued.

  • Should have experience of system copies, export/import, back-up/restore and experience of hardware move. Any Data Center move experience in desirables including move to cloud infrastructure

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university

  • Experience with automation and scripting methodologies.

  • Project Management experience.

  • Experience on SAP sizing activities.
