Job Summary

As CenturyLink’s Manager, Cloud Analytics, you will have worldwide end-to-end responsibilities for developing the analytical tools that transform data into insight that helps drive product and service business decisions. You will define the engineering strategy and execution path to deliver analysis and tests, and determine how it can be used to inform data-driven business strategy. The Cloud Analytics team drives innovation to make solutions and tools that revolutionize the operation of our public cloud offering. The Manager Cloud Analytics is responsible for identifying needs, developing the strategy for prioritizing and addressing them within an agile/scrum environment leading the development work end-to-end.

Job Description

  • Develop algorithms to populate business intelligence dashboards

  • Automate data pipelines that populate the Analytics data lake

  • Worldwide responsibility for leading, designing and implementing major analytics initiatives

  • Collaborate, plan and execute though others

  • Foster an ecosystem of internal partners and customers to feed into the Analytics “machine”

  • Evaluate and provide guidance on how specific features and improvements will enhance user experience

  • Refining solutions via an iterative test and learn approach

  • Workload management for features, enhancements and bug fixes in a way that enables the development team to deliver the highest value

  • Steer the Analytics team to maintain continuous velocity stream, ensure quality and motivate team

  • Maintaining high levels of communication with all stakeholders on development progress, scope, roadblocks and delivery

Qualifications

  • 12 years of leadership experience in software and service delivery

  • BS or MSc or equivalent experience

  • Proven record of developing vision/strategy/execution for a service

  • Experience managing products or services lifecycle from concept to sunset

  • Ability to think and execute both strategically and tactically

  • Proven Record of taking ownership and driving results

Education

Bachelors or Equivalent

Masters or Equivalent in Computer Science
