Voice and UC Sales Specialist

Job Detail

Responsible for managing business development activities for new logo’s, high-profile named accounts and/or specific market segment(s) that lead to the expansion and growth of Voice and UC services product portfolio. Accountable for the coordination and strategy on assigned key account(s) and growth campaigns. Identifies and develops Voice and UC services portfolio product sales opportunities (Hosted Skype for Business, Broadsoft – IP PBX and SIP, Contact Centre and other Collaboration services as developed), provides product solutions, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company. Introduces company products and services to new and/or existing customers. Responsible for the implementation of strategic and tactical sales account plans. Develops and maintains accurate sales and/or revenue forecasts and management of quota funnels.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge of the benefits of Voice, UC and Collaboration to our customers: -

• Consistent over achiever

• Sales experience in the following: -

o Hosted Voice and UC solutions (e.g. Broadsoft, Skype for Business, Cisco)

o Hosted Contact Centre

o PBX background (e.g. Unify, Mitel, Avaya etc)

o Understanding of Collaboration products (e.g. Cisco CCA/Spark, Bluejeans, Web and Audio conferencing)

• Ability to explain all of the above to a non-technical audience

• Able to demonstrate the ability to take a consultative approach to selling Voice and UC

• Strong reporting and pipeline management etc.

• Excellent inter-personal skills

Job Description

Essential Duties

Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the company's entire Voice and UC product suite. Develops and manages relationships with acquired and/or existing customers in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, attain additional business, and retain existing revenue. Develops action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company. 20 %

Identifies, bids on, negotiates, and closes new Voice and UC sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas. Provides comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts. 20 %

Pursue marketing generated sales leads to close new Voice and UC business. Provide presentation and demonstration support. Prioritizes multiple projects and communicates project requirements/time lines. 20 %

Provides input to sales management about trends and changes taking place within the customer’s organization, and makes recommendations about future courses of action necessary of the company towards improving its position with the customer. 20 %

Provides accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota requirements. 20 %

Preffered Experience

  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.

  • Experience in Managed Services and Networking.

  • Experience in strategic, technical, and business communications application sales.

  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in selling to the close.

  • Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.

  • Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
