Job Summary

Liaises with other Talent Management Consultants and the wider business to execute the planning and implementation of the EMEA wide Talent Management development programmes and initiatives. Assists, as required in delivery of existing interventions across the business and makes contributions to the ongoing advancement of the people strategy. Has a good understanding and experience of planning, project management, Talent Management and the L&D environment. This role will drive delivery around the application of the people strategy to enhance performance and enable the organisation to identify and work with its Talent, end-to-end.

Job Description

Stays aligned to Lead Talent Management Consultants to collaborate on projects, organise and leverage resources, planning and delivering to required timeframes.

Partners closely with Lead Talent Management Consultants to understand solutions, processes and skills development needs.

Establishes and maintains solid relationships with third party vendors and professional societies to ensure CenturyLink is able to benefit from the latest offerings, including, for example, technical skill and apprenticeship training providers.

Builds strong relationships across the business and ensures that projects are delivered on time and to budget.

Proficient in delivering and/or facilitating classroom and virtual development workshops using a variety of adult teaching methodologies, training tools, online training technologies, and classroom skills to enact behaviour change.

Helps to objectively identify, assesses and analyses business requirements and knowledge and skills gaps within all departments through the planning and running of both Assessment Centres and Development Centres.

Identifies ways to drive improved development workshop results and operational effectiveness.

Espouses a culture of continuous improvement, where individual skills, activities and methods of operation are continually reviewed to establish how they can be improved and productivity increased.

Measures and manages key performance metrics to assess the impact of effectiveness programmes.

Collects and maintains data on interventions delivered by the department and reports on productivity and effectiveness regularly.

Provides solutions to procedural and other departmental queries to ensure the timely fulfilment of departmental obligations.

Keeps abreast of Talent Management and L&D best practices to ensure development programmes continually evolve and support best practices and the CenturyLink business strategy.

Responsible for the Company wide New Hire Induction Programme

Co-ordinates regional training programmes, including Lean Awareness etc.

Provides the business with updates on the Apprenticeship programmes and manages relationships with learning providers.

Organises and runs the annual ‘Learning Month’ programme.

Responsible for the maintenance of existing Employee Resource Groups and mentoring programmes

Undertakes other relevant tasks as required from time to time.


Demonstrable experience in organising a large community of people and managing competing demands

Experience of thriving in a fast paced and changing environment

Successfully held a previous role where organisation and task delivery was paramount.

Appreciation of the Talent Lifecycle

Experience implementing a wide-range of delivery mechanisms, including instructor led workshops, computer based modules, virtual training, podcasts and other mechanisms.

Experience of and Accreditation in project management desirable.

Some exposure to delivering coaching and development programmes.

Has credibility to be able to operate up to management level

Experience of involvement in Assessment Centres

Qualification in a relevant subject (Psychology, CIPD etc..) is highly desirable.
