CenturyLink is looking for a VP, Sales and Marketing for the MTU business unit, responsible for promoting CenturyLink products and services though the development of sales plans and strategies, developing effective funnel management processes, hiring and managing effective sales teams, driving improvement of cross functional processes, collaborating with marketing to optimize leads, and creating positive long-term relationships with clients. You will collaborate on strategic vision and execute initiatives to drive sales, engagement, and positive customer experiences utilizing a digital first mindset. You will build and direct a team of sales professionals as well as a strategy to utilize indirect and digital strategies to drive long term, profitable growth.
The Main Responsibilities
Responsible for the Sales and Marketing Plan for the MTU business unit.
Responsible for free cash, strategy, investment and sales and service execution.
Accountable for and directs others in the creation and development of national GTM (go to market) strategies and plans.
Collaborate with state and regional point of contact for any customer complaints or issues and ensure resolution regardless of business unit.
Accountable for attaining and exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quota.
Responsible for annual budget, forecast and managing profit and loss.
Responsible for the strategic long-term goals for the business.
Problem solve and direct the resolution of highly complex and/or critical customer issues.
End to End accountability for consumer sales and service experience in assigned Region
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
(10+) years of director level and above sales & GM level responsibility.
Proven track record of driving sales and profits as well as developing sales professionals, with a strong customer service focus.
Marketing experience in developing go to market plans (GTM).
P&L & Capital investment experience.
Ability to establish and manage sales plans based on revenue, product targets, and retention objectives.
Ability to foster and maintain a culture of ownership & accountability at all levels.
Experience with managing the full-cycle of employee performance with a focus on employee engagement & retention.
Experience with leading teams through change within an evolving organization.
Willingness to evaluate current processes, programs and systems for continuous improvement and innovation opportunities.
Ability to travel 50%
Valid Driver’s License
- Graduate Degree/MBA.
