The Lead Product Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the marketing and sales enablement efforts of the SD-WAN portfolio to meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. Candidate must demonstrate thorough knowledge of marketing principles (e.g. segmentation, positioning, marketing mix, branding).
Designs and leads competitor and market research to inform strategies, programs and tools. Assimilates diverse and complex sets of information and develops original and strategic recommendations.
Lead cross-functional work-streams to design, implement product go-to-market programs.
Designs impactful product marketing strategies and plans to make it easier to for Sales to sell ranging from high-level thought leadership and awareness programs to targeted sales activation initiatives to generate qualified leads and drive new sales
Designs and creates external marketing assets including brochures, case studies, customer presentations and content for marketing programs, newsletters, CenturyLink.com, blogs and other social media and premium content such as infographics, calculators, white-board videos, videos and webinars. Designs and creates sales enablement tools including sell-sheets, FAQs, competitive positioning, training and internal communications materials.
Contribute to and manages aspects of highly impactful Go to Market and lifecycle marketing plans and activities for strategic products and product sets to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the marketplace. Develop value propositions, differentiators, positioning plans, messaging and proof points for critical CenturyLink SD-WAN product portfolio
Contribute to comprehensive and long-range SD-WAN Services portfolio category vision and strategy positioning in the marketplace
Deliver differentiated value stories and product competitive intelligence to accelerate sales success.
Leverage segmentation to efficiently target high value markets with compelling solution stories.
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ year’s professional work experience.
Direct B2B marketing experience.
Solid knowledge of marketing tactics, and all products managed and the related technologies.
Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams to achieve results.
Successful track record in managing new service / significant feature enhancement Go To Market (GTM) launch activities through the full-life cycle.
SD-WAN knowledge and experience is preferred
