This position is responsible for managing overall OSP Budget and project allocation. Specific responsibilities outlined below.
Manage OSP/electronics and riser capacity constraints.
Completion of overall domestic OSP capacity constraints review with each classified for status. This will include a basic understanding if electronics could be used to rectify.
Ownership of regular meetings with all other planning teams within the covered region to identify all issues including facilitating remedies where warranted.
Management of OSP/Riser audits in support of data integrity and market efficiency reviews.
Management of TIRKS/NDS audits in support of network and market reviews.
Market ownership related to strategic overbuilds including justification for builds
To research and develop market research in order to increase asset usage efficiency.
To maintain market knowledge to support the creation of overbuild plans to support both market and potential revenue growth.
Lead Market Plan development and growth Strategy working with Network Planning teams
To manage market the research and creation of market reviews to support growth, increased efficiency and integration initiatives.
To provide Strategic OSP support for larger/Complex metro and Intercity projects.
Capacity Management, Ring Optimization and Fiber Recovery Initiatives
To manage capacity constraints reviews including initiating requests for optimization and recovery efforts when needed.
Lead in developing Business Cases for Market Expansions
Management/creation of all market expansion business cases
Development lead for ILEC market integration plans.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
5+ years of related experience
