Job Summary

Provide visibility across executive’s scope of responsibility to enable better decision making, identification of key focus areas, and progress tracking of top initiatives aligned with regional, functional, and corporate objectives as outlined in Operating Plan.

Job Description

  • Act as an adviser to senior executive and leadership team in progressing key objectives and identifying and solving challenges.

  • Develop and refine management system to ensure visibility by consistent monitoring of the business objectives, including all key leading indicators from a financial and operational perspective. Assist in developing staff meeting agendas to ensure agenda topics are timely, relevant, clear decisions are made and follow-up items are tracked.

  • Provide oversight of, and creation of, linkages for cross-functional projects, initiatives, and efforts across the senior leadership team.

  • Help plan and prioritize Operating Plan initiatives, working closely with critical teams across functions maintaining alignment with the company’s overall strategy, in-flight plans and general principles, e.g. process / system simplification.

  • Develop key messages and create presentations on behalf of senior executive. Represent and communicate the priorities of the executive across the entire CenturyLink organization.

Qualifications

  • 7+ yrs

Other Job Requirements

  • MBA preferred.

  • 2+ years of functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: Operations, IT, A&E, BPI, Product, Marketing, Sales, etc.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to structure and manage complex projects with limited direction.

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation (verbal/written) skills.

  • Strong organizational and/or project management skills.

  • Strong experience or engagement with a variety of the Level 3 functions and understanding of core operational processes.

  • Good business judgment.
